I was told that Monster Energy Drink can help children with ADHD, It is only one of them, but I can not remember if they said the Red or the Green, What does this do for a child with this disorder and what meds does it replace.
My grandson is 14 yrs old and he has been on these Meds for long time and I wonder how I would be able to find out if it would benifit him to take the drink instead of all these medications he takes.
How much of this drink a day do they have to take.
Some woman on line told me this as we was playing a game and I did not get her name so i can not contact her. She said he son of age 14 takes this drink instead of the meds and he is doing well with it.
I would have liked to talk to her more on it but we lost connection.
And I have not seen her on line since.
Can anyone out there help me.
I am grandma trying to raise this boy and need to understand more about it. So I am preciate any help anyone can give me.
I pray that someday god will get this boy back to normal and he will beable to live a good and happy normal life.
Thank you
Nana from Michigan

They've actually found enough alcohol in those to make an adult woozy after anly 4. Now think about what that would do to a child. If you want to sign your child's death wish, then by all means. I was born with ADHD, and have done ALL the research. Just thought you should know.

I have never heard of that drink helping anything. But I can say that i have ADHD myself, and when drink any of those enery drinks, all it does to me is speed me up and then make me crash. It just makes me more confused and unable to grasp things. I wasnt diagnosed with this until about 6 months ago, but my younger brother was diagnosed when he was 5 and is now 19. I know for a fact that they say to avoid giving drinks to an ADHD patient with any red dye in them because there is something about it that cause them to be more hyper and unattentive. Thats about all i can say about that.

The energy drinks make my ADD much worse- I drink a lot of coffee, and the more I drink the more my focus deteriorates. I get jittery and spacey and don't get much done. I don't recommend caffine as a way to help just from my own experience.

Engery Drinks do the opposite for my ADD it calms me down.. don't know why but that always happens to me.. From my experience caffeine seems to calm me down but that is not true for everyone.. Sounds logical though.. I would try the Energy drink if it would help!
