Hi. I have a friend that needs some help - - who can I turn to?

First of all, what kind of help? Does this person have a drinking or drug problem? Does this person want help? If yes to BOTH, then there is Alcoholics Anonymous and/or Narcotics Anonymous listed in all phone books or on the net. There are also lot's of treatment centers out there. If this person isn't looking for help, the only thing you can do is to check out Alanon. This will help you to understand what's going on and what you can and cannot do for this person. Basically, until this person wants help, there isn't a whole lot you can do.
