Have friends who have it I have 2 elderly parents with dementia and a friend with early onset alz. I am learning as I go.
My grandmother had Alzheimer's for 13 years, died two months short of her 96th birthday. Mother has vascular dementia. my grandfather & grandmother suffers with it
Dealing with mother diagnosed with dementia I come from a family where there is a history of these problems & I want to know if I am set for this.

Does she have Alzheimer's dementia?  There are dementia care homes all over the place.  Not just the huge institutions, but there are smaller places that are literally "homes" with 5 or 6 residents.  Many of these accept Medicare/Medicaid.  You may feel g   Read more...
