Misconceptions About RA

As many of you who suffer with RA realize, many times you suffer your pain in silence. On the outside, people see you as "normal" while you continue to lead a normal life during those times when activity is less painful for you.  However, what people don't see is the aftermath of the pain and suffering you endure because of that activity and your need to keep on keeping on in life. How do you deal with other people's ignorance when they just can't seem to grasp how painful your life is for you simply because you have those moments when to them you appear "normal" and are merely overreating to "a little joint pain" just like everyone else has?
