Help! Need ideas, suggestions

I have an 18 yr. old w/autism. Due to aggression/self-abuse, he's been on different meds since 8 yrs. old and hospitalized 3 xs,  & behavior modification always used.  Other than another hospitalization or group home, running out of ideas.  Now going through divorce,  husband in denial that we need other solutions.  Any ideas out there?  Scared for everyone involved.  son has injured me several xs this summer, including trying to breakmy forearm twice.

I understand my son  is the same and I have battle scars for life from being pinched by my son,kicked,.I have no other choice then to place him in a group home.Now they claim he has begin hitting his head into a school wall.So once again here we go.I am the victim of a father in denial.I have 3 grown children the youngest having autism.This will take a toll on you doing it alone.It takes a toll even in a group home bescause you have to stay on them.But not as bad you get a break.And can focus on your son and yourself.
