Can't Afford Your Medication

Posted by Just64

What is you have survived and tried desperately to get well and you have no way to pay for your medication?  You would do anything to get better but have no resources or health insurance to pay for the meds that you need??  What happens?  Do we just die?    As if our minds aren't working under enough stress -it's like being a surgeon with a broken arm and am required to operate on myself???  I am at a loss-so tired.

There are actually programs out there to help people pay for prescriptions if they don't have health insurance. One is Together Rx. Also, pharmaceutical companies often have programs where they give you free or discounted medications if you qualify. My issue is not that I don't have health insurance, but that I do. When I didn't have health insurance, I paid $5 for all three of my meds. Now that I do have insurance, the co-pays equal over $100 for my meds.
