Today is my 33rd birthday. I am full of cheesecake. :) Just found this group.  I have been battling this disease for about 13 years now. I have been stable for 2 years now after years of trying to find the right combo that would help me feel normal and lead a somewhat normal life. I am taking Seroquel,Lamictal, and Xanax (as needed). I have had 4 children. My last two pregnancies sent me into psychosis and and I have been through many psych ward stints in the past. I also have had a full hysterectomy which I think has helped greatly with the hormonal rollercoaster. I do not take synthetic or natural hormones at all. The meds have made me obese. I am 5'7" and was about 150 when this started. I am now 300 pounds. I have no idea how to lose weight on these meds.

Im Sorry to hear that Okie, I have always wondered why does the meds that are suppost to help you,end up giving you worse side effects. I heard that some meds will make you gain weight.. Its a shame to live a normal life one must put up with all the extras that come along with treatment.. Well Happy Birthday!!
