TOO MUCH TO BEAR

Early this morning, a few Cafe friends were sharing some heavy-duty sighs along with their mocha lattes:  "It's just becoming too much to bear", whispered Judy. "I never stop worrying about her (her mother) even when I'm at my office."  As I gazed around the table, several Cafe friends were nodding in sympathy.

Just then, our good friend Rene Cantwell, publisher of FOLO (Families of Loved Ones) magazine stopped by to share her great passion and compassion for caregivers everywhere.

As a longtime caregiver, Rene knows first-hand how very important it is to assist the primary caregiver with respite and supplemental services before "it all becomes too much to bear."

As a dedicated advocate for caregivers, Rene has launched FOLO's Respite Awareness Initiative to heighten families' and providers' understanding of the importance of supplemental services to ease the overworked, overstressed, sometimes overlooked, primary caregiver before burnout occurs.

As Rene wisely explained, "A presidential proclamation made November Caregiver Awareness Month but we at FOLO know that families need respite, resources, and quality services all year long; and FOLO takes great pride in offering it year-round."

We totally agree with Rene; so whether you are a family member or a service provider, stop by FOLO to see how their Respite Awareness Initiative can assist you.   Caringly, Jackie, Jeff & Friends
