2008 Olympics -- Don't end yet!

There's still quite a few days left of the Olympics, and I'm already sad for them to end! It's amazing how I've convinced myself so many times in the past that I'm too tired to go to the gym or that there's no way I can possibly go 2 more minutes on the treadmill. Because here are these amazing individuals (Michael Phelps who's like a dolphin in the water or Kerri Walsh who moves with more ease on the sand than I could ever move on pavement), and I'm reminded of what the human body and spirt is capable of achieving. These athletes are such an inspiration, and could teach us all quite a bit about overcoming adversity, pushing themselves to the limit (and beyond) and never ever EVER giving up.

Yes, the things they can have their bodies do, is very inspiring. :)

I'm a happy and healthy 29-year old who values her relationships with friends and family. I ADORE dogs and am counting down the days until Dan and I get one. I'm pretty obsessed with nutrition (I'll talk your ear off any day about the wonders of juicing) and am also determined to get into the shape of my life. My new love? Running!
