I Told You I Was Sick
By Winbabys Wife

We know our bodies best.  This is my story about how I am fighting horrible insurance and a Dr. who will not listen.

It All Started

One day at work I was having a usual day, all the way up to my lunch break.  I sat down to eat my lunch and I stayed seated for about 30 minutes.  When I stood up, my legs were in so much pain I could not walk.  From my ankles to my knees, was all cramped up.  After hobbling around for about 10 minutes, I was back to normal.  A week or two passed and I just figured it was because I had bad shoes on.

Then I started feeling ill, when I got up in the morning.  I was down right having morning sickness!!!!  I have been "fixed" for 6 years now and new that I was not pregnant.  Anyways another week goes by sick every morning, my legs cramping up. "Could they be related?"  I decided to make an appointment with the Dr.

I gave all my symptoms to the Dr. and he really didn't pay any attention....to me saying, "hey there is something wrong here!!"  I ended up with a complete physical, blood work, the whole shebang.

Fearing the worst and hoping for the best.  I waited one week before getting my results.  I was perfectly healthy!  My cholesteral was dead on, blood presure great, white blood count perfect, not a thing wrong with me.  Now I was disappointed.  I know there is something wrong with me!!

I have decided to get a second opinion, since my legs have been getting worse.  Unfortunately I have horrible insurance and finding another Dr. who will take new patients and horrible insurance is nearly impossible.

I keep thinking back to a gravestone I saw once.  It is located in the Truckee Cemetary in Truckee, CA.  It simply states, "I told you I was sick"

I am about to turn 33 and I know there is something wrong with me, but the doctors can not find anything. My blood work comes back perfect, my health is excellent. I am here to find answers and perhaps more people in my predicament.
