Life in the fast lane
By emergencyman

Commited to excelent health physically, mentally, morally, spiritualy. To live a life of moderation yet exuberantly healthy inside and out., Deny yourself of nothing that is  healthy for all your lifes plan. Living on purpose. Will Christ recognize you as his disciple when He returns?. Is it really healthy to expect that when you pass on from this physical existence to the next form of existence that you'll just float around on a cloud an live forever as an angel?Aren't we created in the likeness of the creator?Do we not therefore  have a responsibility to bring the face of God to the public?

Faith where is your's?

Whoo... if I could be so well informed can any of us afford to overlook a shot of real truth when it avails itself , will we see it as truth are grow defensive and discredit it as of no value. If this doesn't excite your curiosity click on the blog address at the bottom and see other adventures into our concepts of christian ethics and  values.Remember that ALL things are possible because Christ does empower and  stragthens us.

P.S.-Greetings to you all!

Christians are constantly bombarded with the message that they must increase their faith. You know, sing louder, pray longer, fast more often, test God, and do a host of religious gyrations so that faith will increase. But when all is said and done, no one's faith is fundamentally increased by these activities.

You see, there is a huge problem for humans when it comes to faith. This problem showed up when Jesus' disciples, in the midst of some serious talk from Jesus, said:

Luke 17:5--...Increase our faith. (KJV)

But Jesus did not give a bunch of hoop jumping instructions in response to his disciples so that their faith would increase. Instead:

Luke 17:6--And the Lord said, If ye had faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye might say unto this sycamine tree, Be thou plucked up by the root, and be thou planted in the sea; and it should obey you. (KJV)

So, what point was Jesus making? Well, the point is that, since humans, even religious ones, don't usually will sycamine trees to jump into the sea, humans don't have much, if any, faith. In other words, we are a pathetic lot when it comes to faith.

However, Jesus' faith is not pathetic. In fact, His faith is the faith that gets things done. Furthermore, when we come into belief, we see His faith in action in us. As Paul said:

Galatians 2:20--I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. (KJV)

So please don't get involved in all the hype that is out there about building your faith. Instead, please rest in Jesus, and His faith always carries you in your eternal walk with God.

Until next time, may you always see Jesus living in you!

Richard
