Life in the fast lane
By emergencyman

Commited to excelent health physically, mentally, morally, spiritualy. To live a life of moderation yet exuberantly healthy inside and out., Deny yourself of nothing that is  healthy for all your lifes plan. Living on purpose. Will Christ recognize you as his disciple when He returns?. Is it really healthy to expect that when you pass on from this physical existence to the next form of existence that you'll just float around on a cloud an live forever as an angel?Aren't we created in the likeness of the creator?Do we not therefore  have a responsibility to bring the face of God to the public?

We are our own worse enemies at times!

In an episode of Star Trek that caught my attention - the crew landed on a planet where anything that was created; all they had to do is think about it, and it become a reality. The planet was a vacation destination for rest and relaxation. Naturally, they are in a good mood, when they arrive and their thoughts are all about having fun.
At the beginning, everyone is having a fantastic time. They're creating wonderful things and having the time of their life. This good time continues for a while, but after a time things start to change. As the crew gets tired, they start creating negative situations. They create things they do not desire. In this episode the villain becomes themselves or their own thoughts. The very thoughts that in the beginning created a wonderful life for them are now making their lives miserable.
What struck me is that "Star Trek" was analyzing real life, because this is exactly what we do in our lives everyday.
We start out in something new and have all this positive energy, in the beginning. Whether it's a new job, a new relationship, moving to a new area, or a new project, we start off with zeal and passion. After some time, we grow tired. Our positive energy turns negative and our thoughts begin to work against us. Before you know it ¿ you start thinking negatively toward the situation.
Your thoughts created by your own mind create the things you don't really want. In the end, it is your negative, self- destructive thoughts that create the things you don't want in life.
By not controlling your thoughts, you stop having positive thoughts and most important of all - you stopped creating the things you want in life.Such is the true story of our lifes many resort to drugs or other means of escape rather then facing the music and creating a purposeful constructive life and planning for the future and not mearly existing waiting for the next hammer to fall as it were.
Remember there is a God and He loves you and waits ever so patiently for your recognition of him.It is helpful to focus on others outside our small world we come to know as our reality. Seek God that is the beginning of the road to personnal contentment and purposeful living. To seek a close relationship with Christ His son is a means of real, joy, love, hope, faith the paves the way to fullfiling your purpose for being created "To Love God with all your heart, mind, soul, and being and strength, secondly to love ALL others as yourself.Remember He wait so patiently and faithfully for you to decide to pray and ask for his son 's spirit to come into your live and fill it with all good things! Pray from your heart, not a repitious prayer, that someone else created. He already knows all your thoughts and needs . Will you be couragious enough to trust your creator and ask for His help he yearns to do everygood thing for you see Jeremiah9: 23-25
