Life is just plain crazy
By Renna

I am a 26 year old mother of two, and also the main care giver for my grandfather. No one else I know is going through this and so I decided to create this blog just to have somewhere to vent and ask questions that I cannot answer on my own.

Are there any other young care givers?

As I said inthe begining I am a 26 year old mother of two and the main care giver of my grandfather.  My son is 3 and my daughter is only 2 months. In my circle of friends I am the only one that is not just a mother but also a care giver and they sometimes don't understand the stress that goes with trying to juggle everything.  I have tried to explain to them What it means to be a care giver , and  few a sympathetic and others just say that there is now way it is as difficult as I say it is, and they are the one that have never had to juggle a three year old and a two month old with a 78 year old man at the VA.  Then there are the times when i watch my papaw with the kids and i just want to cry cause they don't realize the blessing that he is.  He has been my rock for all of my life and now it is my turn to help him and most days it's an honor for me to be there for him.
