A Good Day

The weather has been beautiful here. (I live in Texas). I spent the afternoon with my mother and my sister (who is visiting from Florida) just talking and being silly. It really helps to laugh! At present, I am sitting next to one of my best friends, my Min. Schnauzer, MIssy, who is 15-years old. She gives me so much love and peace. I feel very fortunate today to not have the terrible pain that will soon occur. After injections wear off, it gets bad.

"Smile" at all times! People don't have to know that you are in excruciating pain most of the time.

I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia, degenerative disc disorder, and chronic pain AFTER a Pain Specialist made a mistake that almost cost me my life and/or paralysis. I am always in pain. The only thing that helps are steroid injections given by my Rheumatologist every three months. And it lasts for about one month. I am also on Fentanyl patches.
