I see everyone one and their grandmothers with those ear buds pressed tightly into their ears, music blaring. How safe are those things for you? I would think the headphones with that fit around your ears would be so much better for you.

My kids wear those things day and night. I worry that long-term exposure with affect their hearing later on in life. They even wear them while they read!

I've read several studies that say the earbuds are worse for you. An increasing number of younger adults are experiencing hearing loss similar to aging adults.

Earbuds supposedly can boost the sound signal up to 9 decibels! They are definitely NOT good for your sensitive ears.

I'm starting to lose my hearing and I wish someone had told me to lay off the loud music when I was younger. Who knows if the loud music is definitely related, but it certainly can't have helped matters!
