Searching....

Posted by Tooamazon

I work out. Weightlifting first, then cardio machines, then laps in the pool. Five hours or more twice a week. At least two more days with no less than 2 1/2 hours but no swimming. I have been at it "faithfully" since May 2008. Yet here it is today I'm searching for results. Yes I see a glimpse of biceps but trust me it's just a glimpse. I work my glutes, hamstrings, calves everything! Nothing. Those flabby upper arms thatr spurred this movement are still there. I bench press 120lbs. 5 sets of ten. I do rope pull downs at 100lbs. I do all kinds of exercises with 80 or more pound targeting my "flap jacks", and nothing, I mean nothing! My stomach, child that is a while story on it's own. I do ball feet to head transfers till I'm about to Charlie Horse. I do all kinds of crunches, ball abs, sit ups, you name it, and if I was crazy, I'd say it was getting bigger, ha! Help yes I've lost inches and I know muscle is heavier then fat and water but I started at 211lbs. Come on!Undecided

Hi,  I just want to tell you to hang in there.  I, too, work out at the gym a lot, and it took me quite a while to see "results".  I also watch what I eat, which is important, as well.  I finally do see some results, but have been taking nutritional supplements for about 4 months, and that is what has helped me the most to achieve my goals.  I feel great, and look great.  I also am in my 60's, but people tell me all the time that I look much younger.  Good luck to you, and don't give up.
