?? what is it ??

Posted by wisegirl213

Hi all ... I'm Lori and I'm new ... I started having grand mals out of the blue last jan and it took six months before they could get them under control.  I'm currently taking lamictal and neurontin.  These seem to be working.  However, lately I've been having these jolts or twitches.  I don't really know how to describe them.  I'm hoping some of you might have experienced something similar and can give me a little more insight.  I don't want  to say anything to the doc yet because I'm terrified they'll pull my license again (i know, i know).  But if it's nothing, I'd really rather avoid the drama.  Thanks guys... take care, Lori

Hi Lori,

I know you may not  want to here this but the medican could have just  helped the grand mal seizures and now there what they call peite mal. They do couse twitches and sometimes your leg or arm my jump as if a doctor is taping your knee for it to jump. For somone like me that  would be a good thing I think all they need to do is make your medican a higher dose for you. I have have them since I was 6 grand mal seizures and been on all medicans new and old they just keep me from having so many a mounth. I know about all medicans and surgers if you want  to ask me before a doctor been there still there lol.
