Hi.  I've been taking 75 mg 1 to 2x daily for a couple of months.  It helps w/ my pain but not completely.  The worst thing I've noticed is some weight gain.  I have an appt to talk to my dr about it in a couple of weeks.  I still notice some soreness in my worst tender spots.

I myself do not take it, however, I do know of a few people who do. One swears by it, she thinks it really helps. SHe still has to take other meds with it, but says it has helped to reduce the pain. No drug is going to take all the pain away, but exercise helps more than anything. I have had FMS/CFS for seven years, and it took me years to figure this out. I kept telling my doctor how can I exercise if I am in so much pain, that I cannot get out of bed?  Well, I finally decided to stop feeling sorry for myself, and started swimming. At first it is exhausting. I am not going to lie, this is not a piece of cake, but years later, with the swimming and daily walking, I am able to move better than I have in a very long time. I think I just needed a push, and I got it from some really good friends who stuck by me. It is hard to keep friends with this DD, they don't want to hear you complain, or help you if you are hurting cuz they don't understand. When I found some friends who had this as well, we were there for one another, through all the hard times, and the good times. (Oh and praying wouldn't hurt either.)

I have been on Lyrica for almost 2 years and it does help. I am still on other meds such as muscle relaxers and depression meds. The worse part about Lyrica is the weight gain. I take 100 mg 3x day.
