Pain Like None Other

So many people think that fibro is all in the head but they have no idea what kind of pain we deal with on a daily basis. it is such a deep ache that I often can't even find the will to get out of bed. When will they find help for this awful affliction?

I've dealt with for 17 yrs. Can be very frustrating. Constant pain. Meds help but still have pain. Then they tell you its drug seeking. What IO wouldn't give for healing. some help is massage therapy with your meds. I've tried everything over the yrs. Just have to live one day at a time and offer up to God on daily basis. Someday they will have an answer for us

Helllo FibroGirl78,Yes it is in your head ,then your neck,back, legs,knees,feet,arms,hands,the list goes on and which everyday the area changes. My doctor told me about 7 years ago.(I knew thing was wrong 20 years back or more but Ididn,t know what it was!) I  thought it  would easy for him to tell me how to cope. NO, everyone is different ,stop worrying about what other people think . the stress it causes make it worse.You like many others of are looking for answers.Praying that one day they will find a cure. Until then we all must be like Rosemary said try offering it  up to God .( the first time someone told me that I wanted to yell at her and tell you don,t know how I feel). Take it slow on days you are hurting the most. I find that being kind to yourself ,eating right, resting when you need to ,playing soft music , every day is a hard . Laughing before crying other wise you'll be more depressed. About I mean then I say laughing when someone knocking at the door I'm yelling I'm coming it's less than 15 ft. from my kitchen to my door and it takes me 3 to4 mins to walk saying ouch every step I take. Everyday is a something new, and we try to do the best we can . Be good to yourself and may God bless you!
