Too Busy to Workout!

I am so busy I find it hard to find time to exercise. I can't afford a gym or personal equipment. I used to run in high school and college, although I do have a knee injury that can act up. I run at our civic center when they allow it, they are open 7-7, however I am usually in a school teaching by 7:30-3:00 and then I work again at 4! I am not sure what to do... I would prefer to weigh about 160-165 rather than the 175 I do weigh. Since I work until midnight, getting up early is so exhausting. I'm not sure what to do! I know that I have to lose these 10 lbs. My weight fluctuates so much in the year, I want to remain consistent. I mostly run, although I do bike in the warm months. Any suggestions?

I used to think the same thing, but I found something that works.
No matter how busy you are, you can find 30 minutes, three or four days a week, to walk out the front door and walk. That really is all it takes. When I went to the gym, the only thing I did there was the treadmill. It was a hassle to spend 20 minutes driving there, change clothes, treadmill 30 minutes, shower, 20 minutes driving home. Almost 90 minutes out of my day, plus the cost of gas!
Then I realized that I could step out my front door and walk a mile or more in 30 minutes in the morning before my shower for FREE! I still have 25 pounds to lose, but I lost 30 pounds in 2 or 3 months just doing that and watching the fat and sugar intake. I don't count calories or carbs.
If I stop walking (yup, I get lazy sometimes), I stop losing, but I haven't put anything back on because I'm careful about fat and sugar and make sure food servings are no bigger than the palm of my hand.

Working out is part of living well. I joined Snap Fitness for less than 85 cents a day. I've got access to all of the expensive equipment in an environment that makes me want to exercise. I would suggest that no one is too busy to exercise. Good luck.

Is there something you can do at school or at your second job to do more exercise type activities? Like bend more or move more or something like that. Maybe do something during lunch break. Good luck!

I agree that many people think that they are too busy to find time to exercise but you can always squeeze in 15 minutes here and another 15 minutes there. When I'm lazy I make an excuse that I'm too busy to exercise but I know that I can squeeze in time. Don't give up we gotta keep going!
