Dr. Thompson received dual undergraduate degrees in Political Science and French Literature from The Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland. She received her medical doctorate from the University of Maryland School of Medicine in 2002, and completed her residency training and fellowship in Cardiovascular Diseases at the Georgetown University Hospital and Washington Hospital Center in 2008. |
