Dr. Marc Eisenberg is one of the leading cardiologists at Columbia-Eastside's Cardiology Department. Dr. Eisenberg holds the position of Assistant in Clinical Medicine at Columbia University. He is the recipient of the Michael H. Aronow Memorial Prize for humanistic qualities, and in 1997, he received the Housestaff Research Award.

Since 2001, Dr. Eisenberg has been working through the Cardiology Division of Columbia University researching the hemostatic and immunologic factors in cardiac transplant recipients. Additionally, he is also doing research on the effects of transient triglyceridemia on vascular reactivity, and plasma asymmetric dimethylarginine levels in young healthy men without risk factors for coronary heart disease.
