Dr. Shishir Bhattacharya was trained in Obstetrics & Gynecology with Dr. Hugh Barber at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City. After his residency training, Dr. Bhattacharya joined the Ob-Gyn department at Westchester County Medical Center and New York Medical College as a full time teacher/practitioner. He started his private practice in 1987 and was joined by Dr. Hugo Cocucci in 2002. Dr. Bhattacharya was one of the first gynecologists to introduce Operative Hysteroscopy and Operative Laparoscopy in Westchester County. Currently Dr. Bhattacharya and Dr. Cocucci are one of the first gynecologists to offer Essure® tubal ligation and NovaSure® endometrial ablation procedures in the office. The name of the practice is Westchester Woman's Care, located in Yonkers, NY. |
