Intermittent Headache After Hitting Head

I accidentally hit the back of my head on the corner of a clothing shelf while in a Manhattan department store early yesterday evening, and despite immediately icing it, I've been getting dull headaches on and off since.  I was wondering if anyone has any feedback on this type of injury - - should I see a doctor or just wait another day to see if things improve?

You might have a concussion. I would definitely go to the doctor if I were you. It's always better to be safe than sorry.

I would defiintely go see a doctor if your headache continues.  Don't risk your health..and check your pupils are they both the same size?

i am a 30 yr migraine sufferer. i am 56, they have basically wrecked my quality of life. i have spent so much time at ER and dr's office.. i am at a point that my meds cause re-bound headaches now. ..  my  26 yr old daughter gets them but not as I do,  i hope she never gets as bad! they have more prophylactic meds now then they did back in my 20's.  all i was offered was pain killers, and always felt in some way addicted/.

a day without a headache would be sooo wonderful!
