Blueberry and Pear Cobbler
Ingredients:
1-1/2 cups self-rising flour
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 lb margarine or butter
1 egg, beaten
15 oz canned blueberries
15 oz canned pears, drained
1/3 cup milk
Cooking Directions:Drain blueberries, reserving half the syrup. Place pears in a deep pie dish, add the blueberries and syrup. Mix flour and 1/4 cup sugar. Rub in margarine and add enough milk to make a soft dough. Spoon dough over fruit and sprinkle with extra sugar. Bake at 440°F 35 to 40 minutes, until golden brown. Serve hot, with whipped cream. |
