Creamy Chicken and Mushrooms
Ingredients:
3/4 cup milk
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1/4 tsp cayenne
1-1/4 cups sour cream
1 red bell pepper, sliced
4 shallots, or green onions, sliced
1 chicken, barbecued
1 oz butter
7 oz mushrooms, sliced
1-3/4 cups can cream of mushroom soup
Cooking Directions:Cut chicken meat into 3/4 in. pieces. Heat butter in pan over a moderate heat; add mushrooms, bell pepper, and shallots; cook for 5 minutes or until mushrooms are just soft. Add undiluted soup, milk, Worcestershire sauce, and cayenne. Bring to boil; add chicken and cook until chicken is heated through. Remove from heat and stir in sour cream. |
