Flank Steak with Cilantro

Ingredients:

2 tbsp olive oil
1/2 cup dry red wine
1/2 cup olive oil
2 tbsp dry red wine
1-1/2 lb flank steak
2 cloves garlic, peeled and thinly sliced
1 cup cilantro, coarsely chopped
1 tbsp red onion, minced
3 loaves fresh pita bread, warm, cut in half

Cooking Directions:

Prepare grill. Place flank steak in a large shallow dish. Combine 2 Tbsp oil, garlic and wine in a measuring cup and pour over steak. Marinate at least 30 minutes. Combine 1/3 cup oil, cilantro, onion and salt and pepper to taste in a food processor or blender. Process until smooth. Let sit about 30 minutes at room temperature. Remove steak from marinade, discarding marinade. Grill about 5 minutes. Turn steak and grill another 4-5 minutes for rare. Slice against the grain diagonally. Serve steak slices on warm pita bread. Pour cilantro sauce over steak.
