Potato au Gratin with Blue Cheese
Ingredients:
1 clove garlic, crushed
1 cup milk
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 lb Parmesan cheese, grated
1/4 cup chives or scallions, chopped
6 oz blue cheese, grated
2 lb potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
Cooking Directions:Preheat oven to 350°F. In a well-greased 9x13 in. baking pan, layer the potatoes, topping each layer with salt, pepper, chives or scallions, blue cheese, and Parmesan cheese. In a bowl, combine the milk and garlic. Pour over the potato layers. Bake at 350°F for 65 to 70 minutes, or until potatoes are tender and golden brown. |
