Spinach with Almonds and Garlic

Cooking time: 5 min

Ingredients:

2 cloves garlic, crushed
2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
2 tsp unsalted butter
2 tbsp slivered almonds
1-1/2 lb spinach, washed and tough stems discarded

Cooking Directions:

Melt butter in a heavy nonstick skillet over medium heat. Sauté garlic 1 minute. Add spinach and almonds. Increase heat to medium high. Cover and simmer 4-5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until spinach is wilted. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Sprinkle with Parmesan before serving.
