Vanilla Ice Cream with Sautéed Pears
Ingredients:
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
3 tbsp lime juice
2 cups vanilla ice cream
4 ripe firm pears, cored and sliced lengthwise
1 tbsp unsalted butter
1/3 cup brown sugar
Cooking Directions:Melt butter with brown sugar in a heavy nonstick skillet over medium heat. Sauté pears and cinnamon 4-5 minutes or until pears begin to soften. Stir in lime juice. When liquid starts to simmer, remove from heat. Serve with ice cream.Nutritionist Recommended For: |
