Living with Parry-Romberg Syndrome

Virginia, 44, was diagnosed with Parry-Romberg syndrome when she was 13 years old. Also known as progressive hemifacial atrophy, Parry-Romberg syndrome is a rare disorder characterized by a gradual deterioration of the skin and soft tissues in half of the face. Virginia shares her physical and emotional struggles of living with the condition.
