Dr. Lisa Explains Ectopic Pregnancy
Nikki found out at 20 weeks that her pregnancy was abormal and the egg had implanted outside of her uterus. Her doctors suggested she terminate, but Nikki says her pregnancy felt healthy to her so she decided to move forward, though doctors told her she was risking her life. OB/GYN Dr. Lisa Masterson explains that Nikki had an ectopic pregnancy, and most women with the condition suffer massive hemorrhages early in their pregnancies, risking the lives of the mother and the baby.
