Dolores Miller's Iced Tea
Ingredients:
12 tea bags, black
2 quarts cold water
1 fresh large lemon, juiced, with half of lemon peel cut up and reserved
2 tbsp sugar, to taste (optional)
Cooking Directions:Place tea bags in a saucepan. Add about 1/4 the water and bring to a boil. Allow to completely cool on the stove. Pour into a pitcher, add remaining water, lemon juice, lemon peel, and, if desired, sugar. Serve chilled. You can adjust strength of tea as desired or use green tea or other tea in place of black tea. |
