Basic Mashed Potato
Ingredients:
1/4 cup milk
1 tsp sugar
1-1/2 oz unsalted butter
4 medium baking potatoes, peeled, each cut into 4 even pieces
Cooking Directions:Place potatoes in a steamer basket over boiling water. Cover pan and steam 10 minutes or until tender. Drain. Mash well with potato masher or fork, or push potato through a sieve. Add last 3 ingredients and beat until butter is melted.Nutritionist Recommended For: |
