Peppered Steak with Tarragon

Cooking time: 5 min

Ingredients:

3 cloves garlic, crushed
1-1/3 tbsp olive oil
3 tbsp olive oil
2 tsp whole green peppercorns, drained
2 tsp tarragon, or 2 Tbsp fresh, minced
1-1/2 lb top sirloin steak

Cooking Directions:

Combine all ingredients, except steaks, in a nonreactive baking dish. Add steaks and turn to coat. Marinate about 50 minutes in refrigerator. Remove meat, discarding marinade. Turn on broiler. Broil about 3 minutes per side for medium-rare meat. Increase cook time for desired doneness.
