Performing Carmen's Full-Face Transplant

In June of 2007, Carmen Tarleton, a registered nurse and mother of two, barely survived a brutal domestic assault that left her with extensive injuries and severe disfigurements. Carmen became the fifth person in the U.S. to receive a full-face transplant.
