Mayo Clinic Minute: What to Do If Your Baby Has Eczema
Childhood eczema is no fun for the little ones who suffer from it. The chronic skin condition, also called atopic dermatitis, causes red, scaly, itchy patches to erupt on the skin. Many parents and caregivers avoid bathing children who have eczema for fear of drying out the skin and making the situation worse. Experts from the Mayo Clinic Children's Center say for many children, a combination of daily baths plus moisturizers may help. Reporter Vivien Williams has more.
